Lveiyone agrees that It is the finest of all holidays, especially for the children. Christmas dinner Is a gala occasion. It is the high spot of the holiday get together. Housewives start planning for it days in advance. Take cranberry sauce, for inno Christmas dinner has stance ever been complete without it. Our grandmothers prepared it at least a week ahead. In those days cranberry sauce, thick with berries, was served in a side dish. Today, it may be strained, put inta a mold and chilled. The newest and most attractive method is to make it without any cooking, and the addition of orange gives it a new interest. At serving time it comes to the table side by side with the roast, in cubes which adorn the edge of the dinner plate. One of the advantages of this method is that it can be prepared at pi actually the last minute because quick setting gelatin requires only an hour to become firm. Below are the modern versions of cranberry sauce and holiday fruit cake: WOMEN ARE MORE ACCURATE B. P. W. The bird should be reasonably fat, since the fat a better flavor and prevents the dry, tasteless flavor common to turkeys in poor flesh. hn-prr- A For Your Holiday A general "rule of the thumb" s to allow to a pound Pajamas 'aiam?s j When One "Has the Floor" member of an organization hns the floor when the presiding oltlcer grants him the privilege of A speu Wing to the members.
