Show List Warned Here Frliloy On Legislative Successor Members of the Grand County Republican central committee met last Friday to discuss a possible replacement re-placement from Grand county coun-ty for Rep. Jesse J. Peacock Pea-cock who will bo leaving the State Legislature to take a position wi'h the Utah Education Edu-cation Association. Five names were considered consid-ered at the meeting which is prel:minary to a meeting with Emery County's central cen-tral committee representatives representa-tives to decide who the recommendation rec-ommendation to the gove--nor will be. Of those sug- gestcd, the committee narrowed nar-rowed the possibilities down to two: Tern Stocks and Lester Les-ter Rrgers. Also considered were Lee Ilowlai.d. Robert Daltcn and Leland Teeples. Later this week the two ccunty meeting will be held wilh the final decision as ta who will be 'nominated decided de-cided at that time. The man chosen to represent this district dis-trict must be agreed upon by member's of the committee commit-tee of both counties before Irs name is submitted to Governor Rampton for appointment. |
