The ordinances were finished fin-ished early this fall and approved ap-proved by the Planning Commission, Com-mission, but according to Dr. Beyeler and Attorney Snow there appeared to be some portions so stringent that they would be difficult to enforce. Commissioner Beyeler stated sta-ted Tuesday that some areas of the new ordinances were contradictory to the laws now existing. He continued that some of the new ordinances ord-inances .will be so restrictive that new building in some areas in the County will be impossible without public water and sewer systems. Also implied in some of the ordinances, according to Commissioner Beyeler, is that seme areas are to be used for only certain uses and this will affect the real estate value of that property. prop-erty. Commissioner Beyeler said that this study would be primarily pri-marily to change these con-tradictions con-tradictions and restrictions, and not to change the actual zoning itself since the Planning Plan-ning Commission had already al-ready approved the zones as they are written. The two men hope to be finished with the changes before the first of the year so that the ordinances may be published by that time. |
