Show Accidents, breakins There were two acci- dents and two breakins ; investigated by the Grand 1 County Sheriff's depart-l depart-l ment during the week. On Marck 3 at about : 7:30 p.m. at the intersec-- intersec-- tion of Mill Creek Drive ' and Holyoak Lane the first accident occurred. Joseph ' M. Rodman was east-1 east-1 bound on Holyoak Lane drivmg a 1973 Jeep. He ; attempted to turn onto Mill Creek Drive and failed to negotiate the curve. The vehicle rolled 1 Vi times and was totaled. Rodman was cited for driving under the influence in-fluence of intoxicating liquor and leaving the scene of an accident by Deputy Sheriff Lynn Izatt. Izatt also investigated an accident which occurred oc-curred about 7:30 p.m. March 4 on Spanish Valley Road. Rita Ash Richins was westbound in a 1972 Ford Pinto. Her vehicle ran head-on into a utility pole and was totaled. Two passengers, her husband Joseph Richins and Roger Howard sustained minor injuries. She was cited for leaving the scene and for speed too fast for existing conditions. There was a burglary at Spanish Valley Feed on March 1 in which $4,000 in cash and goods were taken. Arrested later in connection with the incident inci-dent were 3 juveniles and 1 adult. The adult is John Roy Christensen, 18, who was charged with 2 counts of burglary. The juveniles were also charged with 2 counts of burglary, reported re-ported Deputy Izatt. Still under investigation is a breaking-and-entering reported at Val Thompson's Thomp-son's Body Shop sometime some-time during the night of March 4 in which there was a theft of $40. |
