Show .vv.--: ' .-ii; S'ft- tW' Mr. and Mrs. Tom Arnold Couple married in recent ritesatCityPark The Old City Park was the setting chosen by Paula McEl-haney McEl-haney and Tom Arnold for their wedding July 29, 1977. The double ring ceremony was performed by Judge Donald Don-ald Crist of Moab. Paula's gown was of candlelight candle-light satin with lace appliqued bodice and skirt over pleated chiffon. The gown featured a lace over satin scalloped neckline neck-line and pleated chiffon sleeves. She wore a matching hat of candlelight satin, trimmed in illusion and ribbon with a mid-length veil of illusion. 'The amethyst and gold hatpin worn by the bride was a gift from the groom's mother, Mrs. Sue Arnold. Paula's gown and hat were designed and made for her by her mother, Donis McElhan-ey. McElhan-ey. The bride's father, Vernon McElhaney was unable to attend the wedding due to a long illness. In his absence the bride was given in marriage by her brother, Douglas McElhaney. Mc-Elhaney. Paula's bouquet was of yellow yel-low rosebuds, white stephano-tis stephano-tis and baby's breath. It was high-lighted with yellow centered cen-tered white snapdragons. Mrs. Marsha Rose, sister of the bride, was her matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Cam Hilliard and Mrs. Lola Wright also sisters of the bride. Flower girls were Man-dy Man-dy and Timina Rose, nieces of the bride. The mothers' corsages were white carnations centered with a single yellow rosebud. The bride's attendants carried nosegays of white carnations centered with yellow rosebuds. rose-buds. The flower girls carried white baskets of white and yellow pixies with baby's breath. The bride's attendants wore yellow crepe dresses accented with yellow floral chiffon capes. Flower girls wore dresses of white and yellow flocked dotted Swiss. The dresses worn by the bride's attendants were made by the bride's mother, Donis McElhaney. Rex Scharf was Tom's best man. Groomsmen were Lt. Bill Arnold and Lt. Dave Arnold, brothers of the groom. Ring bearer was Shane Christensen, nephew of the bride. Shane carried a heart shaped candlelight satin pillow pil-low with both rings. The bride's ring was a special design to match her antique engagement ring. The wedding cake in the bride s chosen colors of yellow and white was made by her sister, Mrs. Cam Hilliard. The reception was catered by Mrs. Sue Arnold, Mrs. Cam Hilliard, Mrs. Ruth Berry, Ber-ry, Mrs. Dorothy Chidester, and Mrs. Katherine Hass. Miss Kay Nelson attended the guest book. The gift table was attended by Miss Tina Stowe and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hotz. The traditional wedding march was played on the organ by Mrs. Madolyn Knight. Music for the reception was furnished by the Justice and Shade band from Price. This was a gift to the bride and groom from Mr. and Mrs. O.C. (Buck) Archer and daughter ReNann of Wellington, Utah. Music during intermission was furnished by The Days End, a local band, who wanted to add their gift of love to the new Mr. and Mrs. Arnold. Out of town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Winfred Bunce and Mr. Joe Goodspeed of Salt i Lake City, Utah. Lt. and Mrs. l Dnve Arnold of Jacksonville, I Florida. Lt. and Mrs. Bill r Arnold of Orange, Conn. Mrs. O.C. (Buck) Archer and ReNann Re-Nann Archer of Wellington, Utah.
