Show ----- i r -". 1- i(o Young Couple Married In Recent Rites The L.D.S.-Chapel was the setting for the marriage mar-riage on June 28, of Mer-ri Mer-ri Lynn Downard to Gail Gordon. The Bride, escorted by her father, was wearing a full length, Gibson Girl style gown of silk organza with the hich necked bodice bo-dice and sleeves over-Iayed over-Iayed with lace. Tiers of lace were sewn around the bottom and train of the dress. A picture hat of crocheted lace, trimmed with silk organza was also worn. Attending the Bride, wearing pinafore style gowns of red and white checked gingjam were Maid of Honor Linda Downard; Bridesmaids, Becky Downard, Gianne Gordon and Sandra Oue- lette. Cecelia Downard was Flower Girl and Joe Downard acted as Ring Bearer. Best Man was Greg Gordon and ushers were Ray Henderson, Shane Clark and Mike Richardson. Richard-son. Jennie Day was in charge of the guest book and attending the refreshment re-freshment table were Mrs . Dorothy Ouellette and Mrs. Debbie Leh-feldt. Leh-feldt. Rhonda and Leslie Corbin served refreshments. refresh-ments. Receiving gifts was Cari Clark and attending at-tending the gift table was Naomi Corbin, Georgia Gordon, Donna Downard, Ginger Clark and Virginia Virgin-ia Johnson. The bride is the daughter dau-ghter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Downard of Moab and attended Grand County Coun-ty High School. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Gordon of Moab and also attended Grand High. After a wedding trip to Colorado, the couple is now at home at Wal.-nut Wal.-nut Lane Trailer Court in Moab. Out of town guests included in-cluded Mr. and Mrs. Roy Ouellette and daughter, Sandra, Walla Walla, Washington; Wa-shington; Mrs. Carroll Clark, Shane, Hathleen and Cari Clark, Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Larry Lar-ry Lehfeldt, Clarkston, Washington, and Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie Downard and Jeffery of Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Greg Gordon and Chandel of Murray; Mr. and Mrs. Mike Richardson, Keat-ly, Keat-ly, Utah; Mr. and Mrs. Bob Richardson, Park City. |
