They had gone to Arizona for the wedding of a niece. Norville is doing very well. Thursday, the 22nd. Betty Jeffries went to Grand Junction to pick up Grandma Clark from St. Mary's Hospital and bring her home. She's doing fine. While Betty was getting get-ting Grandma Clark in Grand Junction Jess Jeffries Jef-fries was having company. com-pany. Jess's mom (Jenny) (Jen-ny) and his brother (Ivan) came from Olathe, Colo, for a visit. Jenny and Ivan stopped at Harley Dome to visit a little with Joe Jeffries and Joe decided to come home with them. In fact. Joe took Grandma Jenny, Uncle Ivan and Dad Jess over to the Silver Grill and treated them to lunch while they visited. A little lit-tle later Judy Swink and son Lonnie came up from Moab to also visit with Grandma Jenny and Uncle Un-cle Ivan. A lovely after-' after-' noon was had by all. 1 Judy's husband, Don, had ! to stay home and mind ' the shop, Burt's Auto 1 Supply. i Dennis and Sheilia 1 Spencko, former Thomp-' Thomp-' sonites, became the i proud parents of a baby 1 girl Thursday. Congrat- ulations. i Friday, Lani Lange, 1 came home from the hos- pital. She is doing real i good, not running foot 1 races yet but it won't be too long, i Saturday Jim and Vera O'Neil received some bad news. Vera's mother Kay Elliott, passed away in Payson. Services were held Tuesday aftertoon. Sunday found theWim-mer's theWim-mer's at Powder Horn enjoying the skiing. Betty Jeffries parents stopped for a short visit i Sunday before returning 1 to Price. . A card was received by me from Virginia Gruver in Gallup, N.M. She said to tell all Hi i and that she hopes to see everyone soon. She is doing as well as can be expected.. |
