Show Easter Sunrise Rites Slated at Arches Easter Sunrise Services for all religious faiths will bs held again this year at A--ches National Park at the LaSal Mountain Viewpoint at 6 a.m. Easter morning. Special music for the program pro-gram will be presented by the Community Choir under the' direction of Dr. Walter Stilson. The choir will sing "O Sacred Head Now Wounded" Wound-ed" and the "Hallelujah Chorus" Cho-rus" from Handel's Messiah. Rev. J. B. Currier from the Seventh-day Adventist Church will give the invocation followed fol-lowed by the Easter message to be delivered by Rev. E. M. Balla of the Community Baptist. Bap-tist. Church. Rev. Linden Curtis Cur-tis of the First Assembly of God Church will then offer the. morning prayer. Rev. Lowell B. Davis from the Church of Christ will lead the congregation in an Easter Litany followed by the real-ing real-ing of Scriptures by Mr. Bob Robertson of the LDS Church. The Benediction will be offered of-fered by Rev. David Hall of the First Baptist Church. Residents and visitors alike al-ike are invited to attend this community-wide service, annually an-nually sponsored by the chur- ches of Moab and arranged by the Moab Ministerial ' As-ociation. |
