Show Car Lands In Home In Mishap Moab City Police this week reported an accident which caused no injuries but much property damage in the Walker Wal-ker Subdivision area. At about 9:20 p.m. last Thursday, Norman Nor-man Brock, driving a 19G8 Dodge Charger was traveling up Locust Lane at a high rate of speed and as he turned south onto Tusher Street, the car traveled across the road and struck a 1971 Ford Gal-axie Gal-axie owned by Glenn Victor . Car Rentals, which was parked park-ed on the east side of the road. Force of the impact pushed the Ford 35 feet over the curb and onto the property of Lea Ellis where $100 damage was listed. The Brock car continued down the street, finally going over the curb into the home of Barbara Davis. A peach tree was also damaged in the incident. About $300 damage was listed to the house. Both the Victor auto and the Brock car were totally demolished in the accident, and Brock was cited for DWT. Some $4,000 in damages were caused by the mishap. |
