Show State Parks Open . . . Fees Remain the Same Daily entrance fees and annual an-nual permits for Utah State Parks will remain the same as last year, according to James D. Moyle, chairman of . the Utah State Park and Recreation Rec-reation Board. The Board approved ap-proved $1.00 for daily entrance en-trance fees and $7.00 for annual an-nual permits. Entrance fee? are collected at fifteen of the State Parks. These park? have available campgrounds, rest rooms, drinking water, picnic tables, garbage cans, etc. The fees help offset maintenance and operation costs. Harold J. Tippetts, director direct-or of the Utah State Division of Parks and Recreation, listed list-ed the following parks as fe? areas and the dates wnen charges would begin: April 1 Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Reserve, Green River Stale Recreation Area, Hyrum Lake State Recreation Area, Utah Lake State Park. Wa satch Mountain State Park, Willard Bay State Recreation Area, and Yuba Lake State Recreation Area. May 15; Bear Lake State Park, East Canyon Lake State Recreation Recrea-tion Area, Rockport Lake State Recreation Area, Sco-field Sco-field Lake State Recreation Area, and S tenaker Lake State Recreation Area. May 22 Minersville Lake State Recreation Area. Snow Canyon State Park and Dead Horse Point State Park have been charging since March 15. All other State Sta-te Parks are open year-round weather permitting, with no charges. |
