Show Steve Day Highlights Junior Hlcih Activities Pushing pennies, carrying books, pulling wagons, opening open-ing lockers, and pushing cars were seme of the tasks thit the sophomores went through on Friday, Oct. 3. On Wednesday. Oct. 1, the auction of slaves was held directly after school in t.'ie gym at Grand County High School. The auction began as senior class president, Steve Boyden, began auctioning auc-tioning off the volunteered Sophomores to Juniors and Seniors. As the auction proceeded. pro-ceeded. Mrs. Marj Donog-hue, Donog-hue, Senior class advisor, took the money and Tonya Scorzato, secretary and D:ny Foy, Senior student, wrote out credit slips for studen's who didn't have cash with them. The annual event was conduct con-duct rd with a great deal of success. For some of the Sophomores So-phomores it was torture, but all in all, those participating had a great deal of fun. As a result of the Slave Day, the Senior class cleared clear-ed $227.31 considerably mere than was raised last year.
