Show Cindy Marshall Travels to National Meet A Wyoming Trek '76 participant, partici-pant, Cindy Marshall, has qualified as one ot fifteen Utah Council Cadette Girl Scouts to spend a week at National Center West, a 15,000 acre Girl Scout Center near Wor-land, Wor-land, Wyoming. The largest center in the U.S.A., it offers backpacking, exploring old Indian sites, horse pack trips, a chance to participate in a supervised archaeological dig and to meet Girl Scouts and Girl Guides from throughout the world. Cindy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jay Marshall, is a very active Scouter. She recently attended Arches Core Camp as a Unit Aide to sharpen her camping and cooking skills in a primitive setting. The Trek, funded by a special grant from DeWitt Wallace Foundation will leave from Salt Lake City on July 10 as girls from Cedar City, Milford, Salt Lake City, Provo, Kanab, Ogden and Fredonia, Arizona board the bus for Wyoming. Mrs. Pat Corey, Ogden, is the Girl Scout Project Director for the Trek. |
