Show City Court News . . . Scheduled to appear in City Court June 30 was Sam Joe Martinez, Denver, Co., who had been arrested June 19 on a charge of driving w hile intoxicated intoxi-cated and a charge of possession of a controlled substance. He posted bail of $300 on both charges at that time, and when he failed to appear his bail was forfeited because of this failure. July 1 Michael Allen, Kansas City, Kansas, and Timothy Lebo, Ohio, were before Judge Don Crist of fugitive complaints from Fayette Fay-ette County, 111., charging Allen with robbery and theft and Lebo with theft. They were advised of the charges pending against them and voluntarily vol-untarily signed waivers of extradition ex-tradition to go back to Illinois to face the charges. On July 2 Brent R. Lee appeared on a charge of distributing a controlled substance sub-stance for value. He requested a preliminary hearing which was scheduled for July 27, when he will be represented by Attorney Harry Snow. His bond was set at $1,000. Terry Brake appeared July 2 on a charge of driving while intoxicated, but on motion of City Attorney R. H. Ruggeri the charge was dismissed and he entered a plea of guilty to a charge of reckless driving. He was sentenced to pay a fine of $150. Orley Taylor appeared July 2 on a charge of assault. He entered a plea of guilty and was sentenced to serve 30 days ' in jail. His jail sentence was suspended on condition that he satisfactorily complete six ' months probation, with! a requirement that he attend Ll Alcoholics Anonymous twice weekly. , , Tom Howard Balsley, Jr., i appeared July 2 on a charge of failure to stop at the command of a police officer.
