Show Senior Citizen News . . . The monthly 'Tot Luck" dinner was a huge success held Sept. 24th Sat. night. We were pleased to have a lot of "new comers" to Moab attend. The main meat dish was turkey and everyone brought in delicious salads and vegetables, vege-tables, pies, and cakes to go with it. Remember these dinners and parties are for all Senior Citizens of Grand County, you don't have to belong to any club to attend. So all you Seniors at Thompson, Cisco, and Elgin are invited and encouraged to attend. Come out and enjoy the "good times". For more information call 259 6C23. At the Sr. Citizen dinner Friday, Sept. 23rd, there were 56 Senior Citizens present pre-sent at a delicious dinner held at 1:30 p.m. For entertainment entertain-ment Mr. Howard Knight sang 3 beautiful solos "It is no secret what God can do", "That wonderful Mother of Mine", and "In the Glowing". A large birthday cake was given to serve to all by Margaret and Bob Rynio as a token of their mother's, Madge Warde's birthday that day. Elma Lee Elderkin also had a birthday that day. Sr. Citizens are reminded that a special invitation has been received from the Moab Community Theatre to attend the final dress rehearsal of the melodrama, "Curse You, Jack Dalton." |
