Show Hatch Point Road Work Ready to Go Invitations to bid on construction con-struction of an additional section sec-tion of the Hatch Point Road have been issued by the Bureau Bur-eau of Land Management. The work will involve a continuation con-tinuation of the road which has been under construction for the past four years and is located in San Juan County, Coun-ty, approximately 22 miles north of Monticello on U. S. Highway 160, with the new construction to begin 1G miles west of Highway 160. Sealed bids in single copy will be accepted until 2: CO p. m. on March 26, 1968 at the Bureau of Land Management. Manage-ment. Bldg. 50, Denver Federal Fed-eral Center, Denver, Colorado and will be publicly opened at that time. Complete bidding material, consisting of bid forms, specifications spec-ifications and bond forms, can be obtained from the above issuing office after March 5, 19G8, or from the District Office, Of-fice, Bureau of Land Management, Manage-ment, 284 South 1st West, P. O. Box 1327, Monticello, Utah 84535. Telephone No. 587- 2247. Site Inspection: Prospective bidders are expected and urged to make an examination examina-tion of the work sites. It will be the responsibility of each bidder to determine to his satisfaction working conditions condi-tions incident to successful completion of the contract. Only one inspection tour of the work sites will be conducted con-ducted by the Bureau of Land Management. The time and meeting place will be at 8:00 a.m., March 14, 1968, at the District Office. Description of Work: The work consists of constructing approximately 5.8 miles of road, including clearing, grub bing, furnishing and installing install-ing culvert pipe, grading and surfacing. The material to be moved will be earth and rock, including solid rock if encountered encoun-tered in grading operations This procurement is set a-side a-side for small business concerns con-cerns only. |
