Show STATE FIREMEN'S CONVENTION TO BE HELDNEXT WEEK The 38th annual convention of the Utah State Firemen's Association Associ-ation will open in Price next Thursday, August 19 and continue con-tinue through Friday and Saturday, Satur-day, August 20 and 21, according 10 jonn j. Meetings will get underway Thursday at 10 a.m. with introduction intro-duction of all fire departments, community singing etc. The afternoon af-ternoon session will include awards to charter members, presentation pre-sentation of ten 25-year certificates certifi-cates and memorial service. In the evening there will be a parade par-ade of all fire departments and auxiliaries starting at 6:30 p.m. A dance for all firemen and visitors vis-itors will end the first day's activities. ac-tivities. Friday's activities will open with the past president's breakfast break-fast at 7 a.m. followed by the regular session which will include in-clude reports of all officers and committees and educational features. fea-tures. Open house at Price fire station will follow the afternoon session and a dance at the college col-lege gym will close the day's activities. Saturday, closing day of the) three day meet, will feature election elec-tion of officers, selection of the next convention city and the annual an-nual banquet at 8 p.m. with a program following.
