Show FIREMEN SELECT MEETDELEGATES Delegates elected by Bingham Volunteer Fire Department, to attend the annual Utah State Firemen's Assn. convention at Heber Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Sat-urday, August 4, 5 and 6 were announced this week. The ,roup headed by Irvin Stillman, sate president; John J. Creedon, state secretary and Marlin Schultz, 'er-fceant 'er-fceant at arms, includes Assistant Chief LaVell Timothy, Earl Ra-ger, Ra-ger, John T. West, Leonard L. 1 Miller, Anthon O. Jacobsuh, H. j G. Benson, Louis J. Aivitola, Donald J. Byrne, Harold W. Nielsen Niel-sen and Joseph Timothy. Some twenty-two members and wives are planning to attend the three day meet from Bingnam. Opening day sessions Thursday-August Thursday-August 4 will include awarding of 25-year awards, memorial services ser-vices for members who passed away during the past year, parade par-ade at 6:30 p.m. with all units and auxiliaries participating, followed fol-lowed by a dance for firemen and their guests. Four Bingham men Bruce Ivie, W. H. Harris, M. L. Jones and John T. West, will be among those receiving 25-year 25-year awards. On the agenda for the second day, Friday, August 5, are officer and committee reports including educational program followed in the evening by a barbecue luncheon lun-cheon and dance. Closing session, Saturday, August Aug-ust 6 will include adoption of resolutions and amendments, election of officers and selection of next year's convention city. |
