Show FIRST PARK CONFERENCE MLTTSJODAY Many Department and National Na-tional ParK Officials Are Participating. YELLOWSTONE PARK, Wyo., Sept. 11. The first national park conference convene! here today at the Mammoth ' Hot Spring hotel upon the arrival of the secretary of the interior, Walter L. Fisher. This conference waa called by Secretary Fisher for the purpose of dis-' cusaing all the problems of park ad minist ration in order that what is best in the management of each park mar be brought to the attention of the officers of-ficers of the other parks. ( Papers will be read bv park officials and others upon all the topics that are vital to the successful operation of these great reservations, including the! construction of roads and buildings, the' installation of electrical, water and; sewerage systems, the transportation ofi visitors to and within the parks, ac-. counting, publicity, . the proper treet-mrnt-ijL forests, mad genor.i adm'n's-. ... t rat inn. The Washington office of the interior department will be represented by Secretary Fisber, Assistant Secre-tarv Secre-tarv Thompson, :bief Clerk Ucker, and other officials that handle national park business; the field force will be represented by tho superintendents of the various parks. A preliminary seesiop of the officer, of the parks was held at the Mammoth Hot Springs hotel Hundav afternoon and the first general session will take place today after the arrival of tha secretarr. The remaining sessions of the conferences will he held at the new hotel at the Grand Canyon of tha Tel. lowstone. After the sessions are eon-eluded eon-eluded the entire party will' tour tha park in order that all the representatives representa-tives of the government may observe the practical workings of the oldest and largest of the great reservation that have been set apart, for the us and enjoyment of the people.
