Show ANOTHER CHAPTER IN MERGER AT PIOCHE Another chapter waa started in the long story of the negotiations to merge several Fiorhe properties, when Ij. Vo-gelatein Vo-gelatein Co. of New York, aaid to represent tha principal capital behind tha merger, which haa now been practically prac-tically effected, it ia believed, started anit in the third district eourt against tha Nevada-Vtah Minea and Bmelter corporation, whose properties were among those entering into the merger. Tha suit ia for K.1". aaid to be due on promissory notes which have been secured by. stock in the mining corn-pan corn-pan r. Onlv recently the National Bank of the Republic filed suit against t. R Wonllev, the Amalgamated Mines and Smelters corporation, the Nevada I'tah Mines and Hmeltera corporation, the Pioehe Consolidated and I,. Vngelstein k Co., to collect abont (JO.noo, said to be due on a note held by the hank. Vogelstein k Co., in the anit filed today, to-day, claim that they hold three notea for 12.1,000 and one for f 1J.000 against the Nevada I'tah company, aecured by stock. It is alleged that only (SIM baa been paid, and this through tha sale of shares of Consolidated I'iorha Mines company stock. |
