Show KING'S CHAPLAIN ' WEDS AMERICAN GIRL LONDON, July 7. The Rev. Frederick Freder-ick Karrar, rector of Bandringham, and domestic chaplain to the king, nnd Miss Nora Davin were married at 8t.' Andrew's, An-drew's, Westminster yeaterdny. - The bride is a daughter of the -late U Clarke Pavis of Philadelphia, and a sister of Bichard Harding Davis. Mr. Davis gave away bin sister and E. B. Hoarse was best man. The ceremony cere-mony was performed by the Rev. Canon Kdgar Hhepard, subdeacon of Chapel Royal, assisted by the Bev. John Stafford Northcotta, vicar of tit. Andrew's. An-drew's. Among the' guests were American Kmbnssador and Mrs. Reid, Mr. and Mrs. John Have Hammond, the groom's mother, Charles B. Davis, Anthony An-thony Hope and Mrs. Hope, Dr. Louis Htarf and Mrs. Rtarr, Mrs. Anthony J. Drexel, Sir William Osier ,and Lady Osier. Tbe gifts included tokens from King George, Queen Mary, Queen Mother Alexandra, the prince of Wales, Princess Prin-cess Victoria and Princess Mary, Mr. and Mrs. Reid and one from the parish of Bandringham in Whieh the Rev. Mr. Farrar and his bride will take up their residence after a trip on the continent. |
