Tha complete com-plete testimony in the present senate committee's investigation in the election elec-tion of Willinm Lonmer to the United States senate bids fair to break all records ia point of volume, surpassing evea tbe report of the Bailinger-Pinehot Bailinger-Pinehot inquiry. With only ten days spent in the hearing so far the committee com-mittee haa compiled 1080 printed pagee of testimony. This exceeds the combined com-bined volume of tha entire first investigation inves-tigation by the United 8tatee senate, 748 pagee, and the investigation by the Helm committee of tbe Illinoia annate committee, comprising 92 pages. The present committee purposes to spend much of tha summer on tbe investigation. |
