At a meetlm of the Board of Public Works, held yesterday afternoon, contracts con-tracts for public Improvements aggregating aggregat-ing $1,148,818.94 were awarded to the lowest low-est bidders. It la the Intention of the board to have the work completed before the close of the present year: The successful contractors and the work to be undertaken by them are: Sidewalks for year 1907 ' S.
