Show DECLINES TO BE U. S. ATTORNEY FOR WYOMING . CHEYENNE, Wyo.? March 19. The announcement, which was made today, that B. M. Ausherman of Evanston, recently re-cently appointed United States District Attorney for Wyoming by President Roosevelt, had declined to qualify for the office, caused a surprise in local folitical circles. ' It is reported here hat the intention of the administration to insist upon criminal, rather than civil, prosecutions in the cases of illegal fencing of the public range had a bear- i ing upon the decision of Ausherman. M. B. Camplin of Sheridan has announced his candidacy for the office. |
