Show AS A PURE FOOD. Is the Government of the Cnited States in with Duffy's Pure Whiskey? We ask because we see in a statistical paper that upon the basis of an opinion rendered by the Attorney-General. President Roosevelt has issued directions direc-tions to the Secretary of Agriculture as to the proper labeling of whisky under the pure-food law. We suspect that it is all right, but the, play of words is peculiar. We should be sorry to think that our Secretary of Agriculture, who is a very correct and conscientious mail, is including ordinary whisky in the pure-food law. It gives one the idea that the Missourian had, that there is no such thing as bad whisky. He admitted that some whisky was better than others, but he would not admit that any of it was bad.
