Show THE WEDDING of Miss OriUa K earns and Stanley Leon Mayer at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Cain Orismon last night at 8 o'clock was a pretty affair. Chief Justice W. M. McCarty performed the ceremony. The bridal party stood under a canopy of plumosa and white tulips, with a background of palms;, white carnations were in vases on tables and mantel. In the dining-room the table was covered with tulie and plumosa, with a large cut-glass cut-glass vase filled with white roaes. placed on a mirror, for the central decoration, six smaller vases of white roses surround lng them. Plumosa- extended from the chandelier to the comers . of the table, where it was caught by bows of pale green ribbon. Cut-glasa candelabra with green shaded candles completed the pretty pret-ty effect. The bride wore a princess gown of chiffon over white silk, with trimmings of real lace, and wore a tulle veil. She was attended by Miss Amanda Smith aa bridesmaid, who wore pink chiffon, carrying car-rying pink roses. Ollie Goodwin best man. FIFE was the hostess at a beautifully appointed luncheon yesterday yester-day In the private dining-room at the Alta club. The table was laid in the form of a hollow square, which was filled with marguerites and ferns, with the same scattered carelessly over the table. The place cards were In the form of marguerites mar-guerites and were laid for twenty guests. Candelabra with yellow and silver shades were on the table. MRS. B RIANT IT. WELLS was the hostess yesterday at a bridge tea at which nearly thirty of her friends were present. The house was fragrant with lilacs, li-lacs, the bright purple bloom filling vases In all the rooms. Eight tables of bridge were played and prises were won by Mrs. J. 1L Bid well. Mrs. Klnnlson and Mrs. A. T. Easton. Mrs. W. W. Rlter poured the tea for the hostess, and Mrs. T. W. Jennings also assisted her daughter daugh-ter In receiving her guests. |
