Show NEWHINNEY WILL BE SENTENCED TOMORROW TO EXTREME PENALTY Harley Mewhlnney. convicted of the murder of C L. Ericsson, a mining engineer, en-gineer, end once sentenced to death, will be resentenced tomorrow morning to pay the extreme penalty of the law by Judge r. C. Loofbourow. Brlekson was murdered at a rooming lioues on Second East street In October. 110. when he responded to the screams of a woman who was In a room occupied by Sol Brown, a Jewelry salesman. Mewhlnney Me-whlnney end Sam Klrkpatrlck were arrested ar-rested for the murder. Klrkpatrlck entered en-tered a plea of guilty to the charge of having taken part In the murder and Is now serving s life sentence In the state prison. Mewhlnney was convicted and sentenced to be shot. He sppealed to the supreme court, which affirmed the Judgment of the lower court. Ha than appealed tor a rs bearing of tha case, which waa denied by the supreme court. |
