A TOTAL of fourteen oil prospecting permits granted by the general land office at Washington were received at the local land office today by Register Clould Blnkely. The permits granted to the two oil companies la the third, and the limit that may be filed on under one name, to be received by each. The h'asoming permit of an equal number of acree Involves land In sections 10, 11. 12. 11, 14. 16. 22. 2 J, 24, In township S4 south snd range 7 east. The other permits have been granted to the following: H. B. Waters, 120 acres; W. H. H. Cranmer, 4H0; C. P. Tanker, H0; A. D. Kelley, 0; W. M. Jeffers, 60: D. H. Cannon, 2S60; H. C. (.-happen, 2560; Cal Hly, 0; K. H. Boyle. 40; K. P. Bacon, 2.H0; G. K. Cranmer. SOD. and 41. H. Waldo, 1120 acres. All of the permits are located In the Circle Cliffs and the Ban Ha far I country. |
