Kanzler, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Kanzler of Kearney. Neb., was born at Kearney. He graduated from the Kearney High school and came toi Ogden. He worked for the Pacific ' I Ex press company of Ogden until lo.r. ; when he went to Chicago tu attend the Northwestern university. In 1910 he graduated from that srhonl as a doctor of medicine. He then become chief surgeon for the Union stockyards 1 at ChfcaKO. , I WAR VOLUNTEER. II In 1906, Dr. Kanzler was married to Miss Klla Hoby of Ohio. Dr. Kanxler returned to Ogden after serving with the lTnlon stockyards and in 1918 volunteered in the army, being commissioned a captain in the medical corps. He had Just recently received a commission as major in the medical corps of the Utah national guard. The deceased was a Manon and a club. Knights of 1'ythias. The wife and parents of Dr. Kanxler Kanx-ler survive, as do also the following brothers and sisters: Miss Harriett Kanxler of Ogden, rYed C. Kanxler of Sajt Lake, Miss Lucille Kanxler and Harry C. Kanxler of Kearney, Veb.; Adolph Kanxler of Great Kalis. Mont., and Judge Jacob Kanxler of Portland, Ore. Funeral services will be held Pun-day Pun-day at the Masonic temple under the aurplces of the Unity lodge. The adjutant general's department of Utah will cooperate with Unity lodge in the services. - Interment will be made in Mountain View cemetery. |
