At a luncheon of the Woman Paye club Jn New York recently Mise Wtl- - son aaid: "I advocate a woman retention of her maiden name profes-i profes-i slonally and otherwise. A woman . should feel free to choose." The matter was brought to the attention at-tention of the club through the difficulty diffi-culty of its married members in obtaining ob-taining passports under their own name. The professional, or pen name, was a necessity for those go- ing abroad on literary or Journal. atir. work. The resolutions Indorsed by Miss Wilson are. in part, as follows: "Whereas, The members of the Woman Pays club, being made up of self -sup, sorting women, consider it their right to retain their maiden names.
