Show "Forbidden Fruit9 At Paramount Sunday Gowns of surpassing beauty are shown In Cecil K. De MUie's Paramount production, pro-duction, "Forbidden Fruit," which comes) to the Paramount-Kmpress theatre for a solid week, commencing tomorrow. They were designed by Clare Went. Agnes Ay re. Kathlyn Williams and Shannon Iay play the principal feminine roles In "Forbidden Fruit," and the major portion of the gowns, negligees and other appurtenances of my lady's wardrobe were designed for them. Perhaps the most striking gown Is sn ermine and sable negligee which Miss Ayra wears through much of the action. ac-tion. All of Mies West's creations are of the ultra modern, super fashionable type. Of another type are the gorgeous roxtumes of another period, designed by Theodore Kosloff and executed by Clare Wet for the Cinderella vision which forms an Important part of the story. Forrest Stanley, who plays the leading man's role, wears Mr.- Le Mille's expensive ex-pensive overcoat in several scenes of the picture. Thereby hangs a tale. At the climax of a drama tic scene Forrest Stanley stages a realistic hand to hand fight with Theodore Kosloff, the famous Russian dancer and actor, who Is also one of the principal of the cast. Among other bits of action in the scene, Kosloff throws a table lump al Stanley, incidentally, Stanley appears in the overcoat which is Cecil B. De Mille's prised possession. In the filming of this episode Forrest Stanley volunteered to gt In the way of the thrown lamp, actually taking the blow and thus adding to the realism of the scene. Cecil B. De Mills vetoed the suggestion In the following terms: "A good doctor might be able to fix you up after the excitement, hut I doubt if any tailor In the world would he able to put that coat In shape.
