Show Garner Reported Ready To Announce Candidacy DALLAS. Texas, Nov. 24 (UP) The United Press learned on high authority today that Vic President Presi-dent John Nance Garner probably will announce his candidacy for the 1940 Democratic presidential nomination within the next week.
