The Bruins won their fourth straight over the New York Americans Ameri-cans last night 2 to 1. while the Detroit Red Wings, still lacking any kind of scoring punch, were roughly handled by Chicago's battering Black Hawks 3-1. The Bruins' defense has a lot to do with it, but Eddia Shore, up to last night, was supposed to be the big gun of the rear wall. Eddie was out with Injuries last night and it didn't maka much difference. Eight thousand fans aaw Toronto's Toron-to's Maple Leafs tie the Canadiena 6 all in a bruising battle at Montreal.
