Show p BridetElect's Sisters Give Tuesday Fete In compliment to Mlaa Flora C Mayerhoffar, whose marriage to Dr. I Heber J. Sears will be an Interest- ing event of November, a delightful delight-ful party was given Tuesday after-neon after-neon at the Lion house by Mrs ' W. X. Nielsen and Mrs. L. C. Jon, ' sisters of the bride-to-toe. The af-whicb af-whicb was attractively decorated with autumn chrysanthemums. ln tha receiving Una ware the . two hoetees and the honored gueat, end receiving tha gueata at the i door were Mrs. W. T. Meyerhoffer. Mrs. LeRoy J. Meyerhoffer and ' Mr. Martha Larson. Mrs. Joseph Evan of Ogden assisted in th general gen-eral entertainment . The aerving table was artistically covered with a Venetian lace cloth ' and centered with a handsome whit china compote filled with Taliaman roaes and fern. Ivory tapers in matching holders were at each end ' of the table. - Presiding were Mrs. Reed 8moot, Mr. Fred J. Peck, Mrs. Nlcholes G. Smith, Mrs. A. Lewis Elggren and Mrs. Marlon G. Romney. They were assisted by Miaa Shirley Evana, Miss Shirley Meyerhoffer, Miss Eva r Meyerhoffer, Mi Beth Nielsen, -Aftiee-eeyee Grant and ftClss Enns Meyerhoffer. Two hundred and seventy-five gueata called during tha 'receiving . hours. On Monday evening Mrs. Earl 8. Jensen presided over a prettily arranged ar-ranged buffet supper at her home en 8outh Third East street In honor I of Miss Meyerhoffer. The supper table was attractively covered with a lace cloth and a low crystal bowl of white chrysanthemums centered the table. Guests at the affair were Miss . Meyerhoffer, Miss Eva Meyerhof- fer, Mrs. Don W. Ence. Miss Gladys Hobbs, Miss Miriam Jenkins and Miss Helen Ireland. The hostess was assisted by her t sister, Mrs. Farrell H. Adams. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Sears entertained enter-tained Sunday evening with a delightful de-lightful party at their home on I Fourth avenue for Miss Meyerhoffer I and Dr. Sears. Gaily colored chrys- anthemums decorated the table. Guest, exclusive of the honor jj guests, were Mr. and Mrs. Harold I G. Reynolds and Dr. and Mrs. Le-1 Le-1 , Roy E. Cowles. |
