Show COUNCIL TO STUDY VACANCYPROBLEH SANDY Decision will be mads Wednaaday at the Sandy council meeting on whether a successor will be appointed to fill the vacancy in the council caused by the death of X. R. Beck before January 1. The council will convene at I p. m. In the city ball. Mayor A. R. Gardner said. A successor to Mr. Beck may not be named until after the first of the year, since there will be but one more regular council coun-cil meeting until that time. Business of ths Wednssday night session will Include consideration of problems involving the city eewer systsm now under construction. Ths project, formerly supervised by Mr. Beck, may be assignsd to another councilman, but Frank Orton, superintendent su-perintendent of ths water department, depart-ment, will retain his position as director of the job.
