Show HOSPITAL PICKS FOUINNTERNES Dr. R. J. Alexander, superintendent superintend-ent of the Salt Lake General hoa-pital, hoa-pital, Thursday announced appointment appoint-ment of four internes to the hoa-pital hoa-pital staff and inauguration of a two-year interneship. Three of the new Interne are T'lah men and the fourth from Iowa. Appointment are effective July 1. 1938, to July 1, 1940. They are Dr. Eric E. Simonson. Green-river, Green-river, and Dr. John E. Worlton, I.ehi, studying at the Rush Medical Medi-cal college, Chicago. III.; Dr. Quinn A. Whitling, Springville, University of Colorado school of medicine, and Dr. Karl G. Avery, Cherokee, Iowa. University of Iowa medical school. Three internes now at the hospital hospi-tal will be retained for the second jcar. They are Dr. Walter S. John-con, John-con, Dr. John C. Roberta Jr. and Dr. Joseph L. Price. A fourth two-vear two-vear man will be Dr. Emanuel B. Hecht of the Long Island college school of medicine, now interning mill jcccninji t Botstv Idaho. Interne at the hoapital are paid 125 a month the first year, of which $10 is retained ajid accumulated a a bonua for payment on completion of the interneship.
