Show 5000 TO MARCH ill CHILDPARADE Princess Will Rule 'Wagon' Event Preparations for a children's parade pa-rade during the Covered Wagon Days celebration in which 6000 youngsters are expected to participate, partici-pate, weregoing forward Friday. Lined up at the Victory playgrounds play-grounds were flags of every nation, which children will carry la the color division of the march. Ray Forsberg, city recreation director, di-rector, announced the line of march, which will begin at South Temple and Main streets next Friday at 10 a. m, proceed south to Broadway, east on Broadway to State street, and north to First South street. Entrants in three divisions will compete for money prises, Mr. Forsberg Fors-berg said. They include the costume cos-tume division, made up of cowboys, trappers, Indians, pioneers and freaks; the bicycle division, with individual riders and bicycle floats, and ths miniature covered wagon division with small wagons and handcarts. In addition to these divisions will be others, not competing for prises, which will include a mummers unit, fairy tale and Mother Cooae, music and equestrian. Presiding over the parade, enthroned en-throned on a float, will be 10-year-old Diane Bailey, elected princess of the Covered Wagon Days celebration. cele-bration.
