Indiana Ball Club CHICAGO, Feb. 27 (INS) With every Western conference basketball basket-ball team seeing action tonight, the zero hour approached for those still clinging to hopes for ths championship. champion-ship. Chief interest today centered in the Indiana-Purdue title at Lafayette, La-fayette, because a defeat tonight would definitely eliminate the Boilermakers for the title race. Illinois, current pacesetter with eight wins and two losses, will seek to increase its margin at Iowa City. Michigan and Minnesota, tied for second place and a half game behind Illinois, will play Ohio State and Wisconsin, respectively, the Wolverines at Ohio State and the Gophers at home. Chicago will meet Northwestern at Evanston in ths fifth game tonight
