Show RESERVE OFFICERS' OBJECTIVES TOLD Colonel Frederic Jorgensen, president presi-dent of the Utah state department of the Reserve Officers' association of the United States, returned Saturday Sat-urday from Washington, D. C, where he attended the national council meeting of the Reserve Officers' Offi-cers' association. He said ths association reaffirmed the following objectives for ths coming com-ing year: Disability pension allowances allow-ances for disabled officers injured on active duty and for their dependents, de-pendents, if killed; 30,000 14-day active ac-tive duty trainees, training of 550 reserve officers with the air corps, one year's active duty training for 1000 reserve officers under the Thoraasaen act attendance of 300 reserve officers at service schools, training of 175,000 R. O. T. C officers offi-cers and men annually, with an increase in-crease of from 14,000 to 16,000 for the advance corps, and training for a minimum of 60,000 with the citizens' citi-zens' military training corps. |
