It seems ! likely that the spend Id new refining plant i of th Mutual Refining and Producing company will begin refining operations within a very short time. The plant la completed and waits only for the completion comple-tion of a pipe ltne to transport the crude from the Bif Muddy field to the storage tanks. This work la tn progress and will he ready for service within a shorj, time. Four new railroad tank rare for the com- pany are now on the sidetrack and more are expected dally. The refinery will give employment t at least fifty men and perhaps more, and will he an Important acquisition to th payroll of the city.
