In an ! argument with Frank Dolan, 4fi, his tenant, over the burning of weed on his farm, one-half mile north. of Berg-er, at ll o'clock this morning, Fred W. -Berger, aged about 60, Nonpartisan league candidate on ths Democratic ticket for state representative, was shot through the abdomen. Berger was taken to ths Boyd hospital hos-pital at noon, where physicians axe making an examination as to ths extent ex-tent of his injuries. Following the) shooting Dolan first summoned a physician phy-sician front Twin Falls to attend Berger, Ber-ger, and ttn proceeded to Twin Falls and gave iilmself up to ths custody of Sheriff F.J M. KendalL Ths shooting; was witnessed by th 4 members of a threshing crew at work ' , threshing beans on th ranch. " |
