Show TCRASIIES HURT 5 OVER WEEK-END Week-end automobile accidents resulted In one motorist being booked for drunken and hit-run driving, two motorists being booked for investigation of Intoxication and five persons being Injured, police po-lice reported Monday. Hemming A. Hemminson, 48. of 3148 South State (100 East) street, was at liberty after posting 8300 bond following a collision at South Temple and I streets Saturday at 1:49 p. m. The Hemmlngson automobile waa allegedly Involved In a collision colli-sion which Injured Mrs. W.' Wayne Rudy, 563 Stratford avenue. Hemming A. The husband of the Injured woman, driver of the second machine, aaid Hemmlngson Hemmlng-son failed to stop after the accident. acci-dent. Two Drivers Beaked Booked within one hour of each other Sunday for Investigation of Intoxication wars C. J. Denaley, 36, of Riverton and William Thomas, Thom-as, 32, of Magna. Mr. Denaley was Involved In an automobile accident Sunday at 8:46 p. m. near the Fourth South street, viaduct which damaged a car driven driv-en by Leonard Cuglletta, 19, of 768 West Fifth South street. Densley was arrested by Traffic Investigator Investiga-tor Sanford. , A. G. Miller, 22. of Riverton, waa treated at the police emergency emer-gency hospital for cuts on his right knee. He was a passenger la the Densley machine. William Thomas, 22, of Magna, suffered cuts snd bruises, as did Miss Dorothy Ryan, 22, of 115 Glrard avenue, who was a passenger passen-ger la the Thomas machine when it waa Involved In a collision at Main and Seventeenth South streets Sunday at 9:48 p. m. MM Damage Total The Thomas automobile suffered $200 damagea and the other car, driven by Russell Larson, 23, of Midvsle, $100 damage. The Larson machine had stopped for a traffic light and was rammed by the Thomas machine, the police report stated. Mrs. Elisabeth Garrick, 43, of 659 Driggs avenue, and her 12-year-old son, Richard, were reported re-ported recovering from bruises and minor injuries suffered in a col- lislon In the 1100 block on East Twenty-first South street The two were riding In a car driven by C. A. Garrick, husband of the Injured woman, which was struck in the rear by an automobile automo-bile driven by Wallace Ridges, 16, of 1409 Bryan avenue. Ridgea was arrested for driving a car with bad brakes. |
