Show Pacific Coast Workers Spend More on Autos . WASHINGTON, March 25 (UP) The average workingman on the Pacific coast spends more of his income for the purchase snd upkeep up-keep of the family automobile than wage earners in any other part of the country, according to a report re-port given to Secretary of Labor Frances Perkins Monday. The country over, urban wage earners and clerical workers own 44 automobiles per 100 families, while in Pscifie coast cities more then 70 per cent of the fsmilles hsve cars, the report showed. |
