AIR CONDITIONING IS BEING PLANNED FOR TABERNACJ.E In this present day and age the trend is toward modernization, moderniza-tion, and apparently the famous L. "D. S. tabernacle will come under that Influence. If present plans go forward, church officials announced Thursday, a modern air-conditioning unit will be Installed in the tabernacle In time for the next general conference of the church members, April 5, 6 and 7. Another modernization project already under way on the historic his-toric building Is the raising of the flooring. Church officials pointed out that the building was constructed with the floor resting almost on the ground, leaving It open to "attack" from termites.
