Show DRIVER FACES ARRESTORDER Arrest of a motorist whose automobile auto-mobile collided with a police car was ordered In a bench warrant sued by City Judge Albert H. Ellett In police court Thursday. Bond was set at 1300. Judge Ellett Issued the warrant for Glen Parker, 25, of 315 Vincent court, whose automobile crashed into the resr of a police car which had stopped for a red light. Parker, driving north on State street Wednesday at 11:55 p. m.. was unable to stop before he did 1150 damage to the prowl car driven by Radio Patrolman U. L. Thorpe. He was. charged with reckless driving and driving without with-out an operator's license. Driver Fined Ilea Leo B. Sharp, 1455 West Twenty-first Twenty-first South street, was given the option of paying a (100 fine or serving 10 days In the city Jail for failure to yield the right of way to another motor vehicle. Sharp was srrested November 25 following a collision at J street and Sixth avenue. Mrs. V. A. Gilhool, 1426 Harvard speeding charge. Roy Pynn, 36. of 1099 Windsor street, and Glen Howard. 19, of Woods Cross, forfeited 5 bonds for failure to observe stoo eiena. Dexter Baker, 19. of 235 Hubbard avenue, was given the option of psying a $3 fine or serving one day in the city Jail after he was found guilty on a similar charge. Bonds Forfeited Forfeiting $1 bonds for failing to give arm signals while making left turns were I. J. Wagner, 144 West Broadway, and Tommy Holland, Hol-land, 1754 Harvard avenue. Ellas Ellefsen, 348 Lske street, forfeited $2 on a charge of cutting corners snd Lalle Goodwin, 250 Hampton avenue, forfeited 50 cents for Jaywalking in the 100 block on South State street. Lawrence Ravenikar, 45, of Mer-cur, Mer-cur, Thursday was released from St. Msrk's hospital, where he was treated for injuries suffered In sn automobile accident Saturday night at Redwood road (1700 West street) and 3300 South street. A complaint chsrglng him with hit-run driving was signed Monday Mon-day by State Hlghwsy Patrolman Eldon L. Jensen before Justice of he Peace Arthur B. Brtnghurst of South Salt Lake. Mr. Ravenikar said his automobile automo-bile skidded Into sn Irrigation ditch at the scene of the accident and he was unconscious fbr two hours, making it impossible for him to report the crash. |
