Mr. Foster died Monday morning at his home, 211 F street, following a cerebrsl hemorrhage. He was M years old. Officiating at th services will be C Clarence Neilen, former bishop of the Twentieth L. D. 8. ward. Friends may call Tueeday from 4 to p. m. and Wednesday prior to th services.' Interment will be in th family plot at th City cemetery. ceme-tery. Mr. Foster was born In Salt Lake City February 12, 1M9, a son of Thomas F. and Julia Dye Thomas. He had been variously engaged In newspaper, advertising and government govern-ment work sine hi youth. His appointment as land office register in 1V33 was the first federal fed-eral appointment In Utah under the Roosevelt administration. Mr. Foster was a charter member of the Salt Ike Rotary club, past president of the Salt Lake Advertising Advertis-ing club, past director of th Cambrian Cam-brian society, a member of th L D. 8. church and for it yara a member of th Woodmen of the World. |
