In fact, he doesn't even have the speed and power on his strokes that Budge has. j His day-after-day consistency is above Vines', though, and because of that workmanship, his protracted performances against Budge ought to be mighty interesting. If it is too late to schedule Vines and Budge here, an exhibition by Perry and the red-headed Budge would be plenty acceptable in the eyes of those who like to watch good tennis.
