OCR Text	Show Ten Cargo-Passenger Ship Contracts Let WASHINGTON, Jan. 7 UPi The maritime commission awarded contract today for tha construction construc-tion of 10 combination cargo-passenger vessels of ths C-3 design. Six of ths ship wiU be built by th Newport News Shipbuilding and Dry Dock company, Newport New. Va., for 12.MO.000 each. These will be steam propelled. The other four, which will have Diesel propulsion, will be built by ths Sun Shipbuilding Shipbuild-ing and Dry Rock company, Chester, Ches-ter, Pa., at $3,167,100 each.
