Show WALL STREET DULL DURING WHOLE WEEK NEW TORK, March 6. Stock market dealings have fallen to a level of dullness dull-ness unequaled since the summer of 1900. Contributing to this were the suspended sus-pended Northern Securities decision, Paris settlement, heavy decline in January Jan-uary net earnings of railroads, war of freight rates, fears of a coming coal strike, doubt over the money outlook on account of possible foreign requirements growing out of the war and great corporation cor-poration borrowings at home, and the da-ought in the southwestern wheat belt. These things have not, however, prevented pre-vented a slow hardening of prices almost al-most Imperceptible in extent and to an insignificant volume of dealings. |
