Show mm TO BURN TWO mldings, ra Sensational Confession Is Made by Two ilen Ar- rested by the Sheriff. ," John Hollmarr and Frank "Wilson have been arrested on a charge of arson, and have confessed to the setting fire to the Lehl creamery and the Highland Boy boarding-house, just outside of Murray, about six months ago. To Sheriff Jesse M. Harmon of Utah county is due a good deal of the credit for the capture of there criminals, though Sheriff C. Frank Emery and some of his deputies have rendered efficient effi-cient servioe. On September 12th last the Highland Boy boarding-house, which had only been erected a short time, was burned almost to the ground. It was thought to have been the work of incendiaries, but no proof that ich was the case, or that would attach suspicion to any one, was found On November 11th the creamery at Lehi was burned' in an equally mysterious mys-terious manner. Sheriff Harmon took the matter up in his county, and after following numerous clues, arrested John Hollman, who was taken to the Utah county jalL Here he was subjected (o a severe sweating, and finally confessed that he committed1 the deed; and implicated impli-cated Frank Wilson, claiming that he was his partner in the crimes, Wilson was arrested in this city by Deputy Sheriffs Smith and Cowan and taken to the county Jail. A confession was secured from these two men that a Gunnison man hired them to do the Murray Job. They allege . that they never received a cent of the money promised. Two other arrests will be mads today. |
