EXPERT REPORTS ON LATHAM'S WEALTH The extent and wealth of the proved ores In the property of the Latham Mining company at Spruce Mountain, Nev are strikingly shown in a report made last night by Expert O. A. Tib-bits. Tib-bits. Mr. Tibbits recently made an examination ex-amination of the property on behalf of the Pneumatic Ore Concentration company, com-pany, which is considering plans to put In its new Snider dry-process plant at the mines. He finds according to his certified statement, that 90,000 tons of ore are exposed by present developments, develop-ments, while the work done virtually Insures the existence of at least 150,000 tons of the same grade of rock. As to the values of these Immense bodies, the report says that extensive sampling and scores of assays prove a fair average of the values to be 23 per cent lead and 9 ounces in silver per ton. This, too, without reference to the copper which Is shown to run throughout in percentages percent-ages ranging from 2 to per cent, no Inconsiderable portion of the ore on the dump and exposed; being near the higher figure. While Manager Moats has never entertained en-tertained any doubt that his company had one of the biggest bonanzas in the West, it i, of course, gratifying to have his judgment ratified' In this manner.
